Path 2 Resilience

It’s been pleasing to read about the impact that my essay Energy, Economy and the Impending Rite of Passage has had on folks, and see where it’s turned up. I was partly inspired to write the essay because I was planning to embark on my own ‘Rite of Passage’ before the end of summer. There are many flavours of Rites, and I’ve chosen one that fits me particularly well at this point in my life. I’ll be ‘shipping out’ to Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom on the morning of July 27 to start my Rite, and will not return to civilization until August 6. I’ll have plenty to share about the experience when I return, and will start trudging through what I’m sure will end up as a substantial backlog of email communications at that time. Until then, thanks to all of those who’ve paid this website a visit, and who’ve offered constructive comments on the essay I posted a month or so back. I’ll have another essay to post within a week of my return, and another soon after.
